My name is Nicole and I started Trophy of Grace in hopes to encourage others going through tough times in life. See I've been through the fire like many of you sometimes I've done it well and other times not so well.....but I'm still her! I was raised in alcoholism, struggled with enabling and codependency, I was molested as a child, I have struggled with an eating disorder and many health issues. But through it all God has been with me every step of the way and because of His love for me, I have persevered not unscathed, I have scars. But my scars tell a story that remind of when life tried to break me but failed. God calls me daughter of the King, His beautiful masterpiece, the apple of His eye, a Trophy of grace and that's what I hope you come to see through this journey we take together. No matter where you are you are never to far from God, nothing is to hard for Him and no pit is to deep that He can't scope down and lift you up precious one. He loves you with an everlasting love and will never forsake you. So join me as we overcome the trials of life and take back what the enemy has stolen. Be blessed! Big hugs💗

Availability Not Ability

God is calling you to come up higher, to come into new territory. He says “As I was with Moses so I will be with you.”

Come on sweet friend step out to something you’ve never done before. Don’t look at your weakness, or what you’re not or what someone said you can’t do. God says, “Look to Me, look at My strength. I am with you and will never leave you or forsake you.”

God is not looking at your ability, He’s looking at your availability🙌🏻

Happy Saturday y’all! Hope y’all have a great Father’s Day weekend.

Big hugs,

Nicole💗

No Pit To Deep

What happens when the trials of life seems to overtake you?

When you feel as though the enemy has won the battle….

When God doesn’t step in and rescue you from the dark pit you are in….

Maybe you landed in this dark pit because of choices you made and now you think you belong there. Or maybe someone else’s choices got you in there. Now you’re all alone, hopeless, full of pain, shame and guilt. You say to yourself “God, do you care about what’s happening to me? Do you even hear me?” Maybe that’s you right now. It’s ok to feel that way.

My friend, God is still with you even when it seems he’s not and no matter how dark your circumstances are, God is still working behind the scenes. He hasn’t forgotten.

PRAYKeep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7

I have been so down where I didn’t even know what or how to pray, maybe you have to. Sometimes just saying the name Jesus is all you can muster up. But what a powerful name it is, just the very name of JESUS sends demons fleeing. He’s the name above ALL names….King of King, Lord Of Lords.

Jesus means “Savior” because He saves people. Do you you need saving precious one or rescuing from that pit? All you gotta do is ask God to meet you exactly where you’re at, even in the pit. It’s the Reckless Love of God, He’s coming after you.

“There’s no shadow You won’t light up
Mountain You won’t climb up
Coming after me
There’s no wall You won’t kick down
Lie You won’t tear down
Coming after me
There’s no shadow You won’t light up
Mountain You won’t climb up
Coming after me

Give Him your pain and sorrow. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18

Give Him your tears. You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” Psalm 56:8

It’s ok tell tell him you’re hurting and broken, He already knows, He’s a God of compassion. “As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;” Psalm 103:13

Dear Lord, I thank you that I don’t have to get all fixed up to come to you, thank you for meeting me exactly where I’m at. You know my heart, my every need. You’ve seen each tear I’ve cried. Set me free from the things that bind me. Renew my mind and give me peace and courage to walk in your ways. Thank You for your kindness and goodness. You are so powerful and nothing is to big for you. Stir up the gifts in me, increase my passion to do what you’ve called me to do. In Jesus name, Amen.

Big hugs,

Nicole 💗

Quote Of The Day

SPEAK TO YOUR MOUNTAINS!

“Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to the MOUNTAIN, Be taken up and cast into the sea, and DOES NOT DOUBT IN HIS HEART, but beleives that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, ALL things for which you pray and ask, beleive that you have recieved them, and they will be granted to you.” Mark 11:22:24

The JOY Of The Lord Is My Strength

Hey y’all! Hope you are doing well. You guys have any exciting plans this summer or fun trips? We are busy bees here. We have our younger daughters wedding in July. Just had her bridal shower a couple weeks ago. Ain’t she cute y’all?

Eythan’s aunt made the cake. It was very pretty. I’m sure it was delicious, sadly I couldn’t eat since I have to eat gluten free.

Just celebrated my 49th, I mean my 29th birthday LOL this past weekend. OMG! It’s my mommy’s birthday 😂

The fam💗

So for the last few years I pick a word for the year that I will focus on. This year my word was JOY. I always have some kinda confirmation of my word but this year it was so crazy at the confirmation God gave me. You can check out these 2 post from last year JOY and I Got A Little Joy https://nikhop320.wordpress.com/2018/12/20/hes-in-the-details/.

Of course, as the year has gone by things have happened, lots of things have happened and we can lose focus….well know I can sometimes lose focus and get caught up in what’s going on and forget what the Lord told me. Kinda like those New Years resolutions, LOL.

I think sometimes we need this reminder from John 10:10 that Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy, but He came that we “may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)”

I don’t know about you but the enemy has come at me so hard this year, things with our family, extremely difficult things. Things I never thought I’d have to deal with. Things I still am not sure how to deal with. It is teaching me a lot though. Boundaries, self care, and changing the things I can and let go of what’s not mine to fix.

The truth is…..Hurting people hurt people.

Loved ones are not excluded. Sometimes they are most painful and the hardest to deal with because our heart is attached to them, our emotions, memories and so much baggage there. Learning what’s yours and what’s theirs to deal with is so important for your own health and sanity. I’ve always been one to come to the rescue, Mrs. Fix it to my own detriment. Can you relate? Do you try and “help” or “fix” people?

We almost lost my grandmother a couple months ago. Of course, with that comes uncertainty and stress from just dealing with the situation. Thankfully she has recovered. My Aunt called yesterday and my grandmother has had another episode but doesn’t seem to be nearly as bad but nonetheless please pray for her. She was actually able to go home yesterday afternoon, praise God. He’s so good!

A few weeks ago our sump pump backed up into the basement, praise God we caught it in time but it’s just another one of those distractions. We all have them, car repairs, washer goes out, etc. but it’s just the enemy trying to get you off course and discouraged.

Then last year we found mold in our air vents, I’m highly allergic to mold. We had it fixed or so we thought and had the Remy Halo installed. Which is supposed to take care of that. I’ve had tons of sinus infections, asthma, and bronchitis. I had to have sinus surgery last year, and one the year before which didn’t make anything better. I kept telling my hubby I was smelling something funny in our bathroom the last 2-3 months. It had gotten so bad I had to leave an inhaler in there. A couple of weeks ago I opened the vent up and there it was….mold😡 How in the world was there mold, I had a Remy installed??? That’s why I hadn’t gotten better. About 8 weeks prior to finding it, I was diagnosed with mold in my sinuses. Craziness I tell ya! But it all made sense now.

The AC people did some things that caused the problems and didn’t install my Remy Halo properly but praise God they owned up to it and are fixing it. But in the meantime, I couldn’t stay there any longer so I’ve been staying with my daughter and son-in-law and grand pups. They’ve been so good to me and hospitable but I’m ready to be home and I know they are ready to have their house back too. Zach has introduced me to PokemonGo so we’ve had a few nights out doing that LOL, it was so much fun. I’m such a nerd😂

I guess it’s at this point where I’ve realized, all the devil has been doing is distracting me with different things and trying to steal my JOY, trying to steal my strength. The same JOY and STRENGTH the Lord knew in December when He gave me the word, that I was gonna need for this particular season of my life.

But I’m here to serve the devil notice I WILL NO LONGER BE ALLOWING you TO STEAL MY JOY AND STRENGTH!

I love what Joyce Meyer says about joy, “Now this joy is not just a “happy feeling” based on our circumstances or on the things we possess-it is an unshakable stability in our inner man (spirit). Joy can range anywhere from a calm delight to extreme hilarity, and it is the joy of the Lord that is our strength (see Neh. 8:10)

Calm delight, I really like that! Anybody else needs some calm delight in their life?

It’s amazing to me how God knows what we need long before we need it. He knew I would need extra JOY to get through this season of my life. You may find yourself here today as well. Do you need some JOY or calm delight in your life? Do you need STRENGTH? You can’t have one without the other.

The Word says “….Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Here is just a few verse I have been using to help me increase my JOY.

“The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

“When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought me joy.” Psalm 94:19

“You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance.” Psalm 32:7

“A cheerful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Proverbs 17:22

“…..Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10

Maybe someone is out there right now really struggling. You’ve lost your joy, peace, and strength. You feel like you just can’t go anymore and you feel like your in deepest darkest pit, everything is pulling at you and you just feel like your going under.

You might even feel all alone and that no one could possibly understand what you’re going through.

I’m here to remind you that God delights in you precious one and He is singing over you right now. He loves you and cares for you. He has a purpose for your life. He wants you to see things from his perspective.

God wants to renew your spirit, revive and refresh you. Fill you with purpose and passion. Let him come in and do what only He can do sweet friend. God bless you.

Big hugs,

Nicole💗

Grateful Heart

Begin each day with a grateful heart 💕

No matter what’s going on in your life God is still good and He’s still in the midst. You just have look and you WILL find Him even in the little things. He cares about every area of your life. Don’t walk around sour as if nothing will get better or nothing will ever change, be grateful where you are my friend! I can’t tell you this has changed my life. Then look for ways you can bless someone else in the process, oh it makes your heart so full!

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” Matthew 5:6

But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.”Philippians 4:23

Get up every morning and expect something good to happen, expect His favor. You are a child of the King, be expectant of His blessings. He loves to bless his children.

Don’t be a doubting Thomas, we can’t be double minded.

Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.” James 1:8

Live each day with a grateful heart. I am praying right now you experience His promises, his blessing, and his crazy favor in your families in Jesus name, Amen!

Big hugs,

Nicole💗

Quote Of The Day

“If you don’t take control of your inner thoughts, you will become a slave to your outer circumstances. You won’t be driving your life; the storms and changing weather will.”
