Blessed Is The One Who Perseveres Under Trials….

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.

What an awesome verse!! Persevere actually means, if we break it down PER- means THROUGH and SEVERE – means DIFFICULTIES.

How many of you feel like you’ve been under fire or that your going “through difficulties?” Boy I know I sure have lately but this verse gives me HOPE!!

Lets go a little further into the verse to the word STOOD- it means to have or maintain upright position, – supported by ones feet, – rise to ones feet.

Well if you are in Christ, then YOU ARE IN RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD!

But this verse tells us we have a part to do and that is to stand and rest in The Lord “through difficult” times.

You don’t build character and purification through easy stuff, no it’s through the fire, it’s through the hard times.

So while we’re “going through ” STAND!!!! DON’T GIVE UP, YOU ASK, KEEP ON ASKING, YOU KNOCK AND KEEP ON KNOCKING!! We persevere through our trials, you are not a wimp in Christ!! No, you are an overcomer!!

I don’t know if you realize it or not but the enemy knows exactly where he can hit you. For me it’s always been my family and my health. At times it seems as though the hits just keep on coming. I won’t lie, I know and see what’s happening but even still it makes me weary, not the give up kinda weary just the why do I always have to fight and battle with things?

We know the enemy knows how to target us but we also know how to target him! Bullseye! 🎯

He may continue to come at me but I will continue to come after him, to tell of Gods goodness and faithfulness.

My body may be sick and tired BUT MY SPIRIT IS STRONG IN THE LORD! I will NOT give up because I’m a warrior and I believe God will open the right doors for me, position the right people at just the right time. He will give my doctors wisdom, and He will give me favor with the right people. Because that’s just how my God is! He loves His children perfectly and He knows what we need when we need. I always need to remind myself of that. Maybe you need that reminder today as well.

My friend God always sees the bigger picture. He sees the things going on behind the scenes.

It’s true God could just deliver us in a millisecond and sometimes He does just that but other times its the going through that we have to do. It’s the “going through” where we grow closer to God and we are strengthened and purified.

So don’t despise this time, if He says we need to go through then its for a purpose, He has our best interest at heart so let Him perfect you.

Sometimes if we are just delivered from, instead of going through, we lose the beauty of our purification in the process.

We lose those lessons that build character, our trust in a MIGHTY GOD, a FAITHFUL GOD WHO LOVES US DEARLY AND ONLY WANTS THE BEST FOR YOU AND ME!! He created you for a purpose and has a great plan for you. So DON’T GIVE UP WHEN GOING THROUGH DIFFICULTIES, KEEP PERSEVERING!! PRAY, KEEP ON PRAYING!!! STAND, KEEP ON STANDING!!!

Your breakthrough is coming sweet friend, you will receive that crown of life God has promised.
