Hope deferred makes the heart sick.

Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick.

I really love this verse I read a commentary on this which I thought was so good. So often we can be hoping and praying for something and not seeing any evidence of anything happening and over time we can get discourage especially if it’s one of those things that you’ve been dealing with for many many years. And haven’t we all been there?

The commentary reads “The delay of that which a man eagerly desires and expects is such an affliction, that it differs little from a lingering disease; pause for WOW moment…..what if your struggling with pain, sickness and disease already??? Sounds to me like it might make it worse. Moving on….when the good desired and expected is obtained, it is the tree of life. That is most sweet, satisfactory, and reviving to the soul.”

Do you need to be revived or refreshed? Man I know I do. This world can be so hard and stressful, things coming at you from every direct it can make it easy to lose hope. I know for me, I’ve been that person who rehearsed my problems over and over, imagining the worse, thinking of all the “what if’s”. But honestly all that did was make me sick, more crazy and it magnified the situation. Then I’d find myself stuck in that hopeless feeling and caught up in fear. Have you been there? God didn’t give us a spirit of fear but of power and love and sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

Throughout the years I’ve discovered if I focus my eyes on Jesus and I help someone else in need it makes me feel better and my situation doesn’t seem so bad. Remember as bad as you have it someone always has it worse.

“The only way to be truly happy is to get your mind off yourself and help somebody else.”

Joyce Meyer

It’s all about our perspective and where we focus. You’ve heard that saying “What you feed, it will grow.” So what are you feeding today? Hope or hopelessness? Health or sickness? Faith or worry? No matter what it is, choose HOPE focus on God, and go about doing good. We have to get ourselves off our mind if we every want to see change in our lives.

Whatever your problem is God has it and He says beautiful one lean on Me, put all your hopes and dreams in Me and I will bring them to pass. I will perfect that which concerns you. I will do exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond all that you could ask or think. I love you, and created you with a specific purpose!! So stir yourself up precious one and hope in Me. Have faith in Me!! You are victorious!! You are My trophy of Grace.

Big hugs,

I’d Walk Through Hell For You: Truth For When You’re In The Struggle

So good! Love her heart. Check it out!😊

Carry The Fire

Do you ever have one of those days (or seasons) where you keep getting hit with one low blow after another. Maybe the blows are trivial annoyances; like dropping your freshly made iced coffee on the concrete the moment you step outside. Or maybe they’re a full on heartbreak that leaves you completely wrecked emotionally, spiritually, and physically; like finding out the baby you had prayed for no longer has a heart beat. Whatever the case may be – I can almost guarantee that the feelings these events produce in each of us is nearly the exact same, and it flat out, sucks.

I witnessed someone I love dearly go through the process of walking through a painful, messy situation that had left her feeling angry, unsure, and deeply hurt. I went for a drive with her and as we sat in the car, she explained to me everything that…

Most of the lost sheep are still in the field….

In Luke 15

“Jesus demonstrates the greatness of his love in going after that one lost sheep. He knew he had to leave the 99 to find that one, but it was supremely important to him to find that one and he would do anything that he could to get a hold of that one heart.”

Are you the lost sheep? Are you confused and broken? Do you have shame and regret as deep as the ocean? I have good news for you, just like God found me, He will find you precious one. One of my favorite verses is Romans 5:8

“He loved me at my darkest”.

God met me at my lowest, most darkest place and brought me out of the pits of hell and despair. God will do whatever it takes to pursue you, to pursue that one lost sheep. Never give up hope!

These are some of my favorite lyrics and they hit me to the core:

“There’s no shadow you won’t light up. Mountain you won’t climb up, Coming after me. There’s no wall you won’t kick down. Lie you won’t tear down. Coming after me”

Good news!!! He’s coming after you and He’s coming after me!

So the question is if you aren’t lost, how then are you seeking the lost? There’s so many lost sheep in the field still. This is one of the ways we serve the Lord. Who in your church “flock” is missing? One of your friends/family who’s gone astray? Who haven’t you seen or reached out to in a while? I think sometimes in this day and age we get so wrapped up in our own lives and or own problems we’re like leave them alone, their ok they’ll come back eventually. But sometimes it’s what YOU have, your gifting, your word of encouragement, or your hug that they need. I’m preaching to myself as well.

People need to feel loved, cared for, missed or important. Often that is what will keep someone going when they are going through dark times in their life. When those things are missing sadly the sheep will wander either to a good place or bad place.

God has given us a job to do my friend. Build the Kingdom and help find the lost sheep. Bring that one lost sheep home.

For we rejoice when the blind eyes are open and when the captive is set free. We rejoice when the deaf hear and when the lost are found.

Most of the lost sheep are still in the field, we need to get about our Father’s business.

You are NOT some mistake, YOU are precious in His sight, YOU are His Masterpiece, created in His image. YOU are a Trophy of God’s grace!

Hugs,

Nicole💗

Praise Precedes The Victory

Some days, your battles may feel like a mighty army coming against you, making victory feel unattainable. Your battle could be sickness, a financial need, an addiction, loss of a loved one, marital problems/family problems, or a combination of things coming against you.

You may even feel bound up in chains with no hope of ever breaking free. When you are fighting for your healing, freedom, or breakthrough, singing praises to the Lord may be the last thing you think of doing, but praise is one of the most powerful weapons we have when it comes to the attacks of the enemy.

If you are facing a difficulty today, do like Joshua and the Israelites did. God told them to circle the city 1 time for 6 days and on the 7th day take 7 laps and then cry out with a shout, a battle cry and the walls of the city will come crashing down. That is for you too precious one. God is no respecter of persons, what he did back then he will do for you. Your problem or circumstances maybe great but I’m here to tell your God IS GREATER!

So whatever your problem is give it to God, claim his promises because he’s ALREADY given you the victory. He’s ALREADY conquered death. He’s ALREADY healed you and delivered you. We have to see it with our spiritual eyes and praise Him that it’s already been done. Praise precedes the victory my friend.

“Circle God’s promise and not the problem”. Charlotte Gambill

You are a Trophy of God’s grace and He loves you so very much. He has great plans for you, now let’s walk in them.

Hugs,

Nicole💗

“The mountains shake before Him. The demons run and flee At the mention of the name King of Majesty. There is no power in Hell Or any who can stand Before the power and the Presence of the Great I Am.”

God is coming after you!

Sometimes it feels that we are going through life alone but let me encourage you God is right there with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He’s coming after you.

In the last few months going through all this sickness and crazy stuff, it’s been one thing after another. I have felt scared and I have felt alone but I have to say it’s been in those moments of pressing in God has been more real to me and I have felt closer to Him. He has shown me his goodness and kindness. He’s helping me to trust Him more and depend less on my feelings and what I see going on around me. He has even sent precious new friends to lift me up.

So what do you do when fear comes at you?

Do you bow to fear?

Do you isolate?

Do you lash out?

Do you let it take over?

If I’m honest, I’ve done it all, maybe your there now too. Don’t be ashamed it’s ok but now is the time to rise up precious one. It’s time to change your confession.

Lately God has shown me that I have to fight back with His word, the sword of the Spirit more so than ever before. It’s part of our armor we need to put on every day like getting dressed. But it’s our choice, we have to choose to pick up God’s word. We have to choose to fight against fear, anxiety, sickness, addictions or whatever it is your going through. His Word is alive, active and sharper than any 2 edged sword and so powerful that it cannot return void.

Your circumstances may look dark and you may not see a way out but God has a way of lighting up the darkness or kicking down walls that are hurting or hindering you. He’s coming after you, He’s coming to your rescue.

We have the power within us, we just have to choose to use it. The power of life and death is in the tongue, so CHOOSE LIFE! SPEAK LIFE!

“The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8

Remember YOU are a trophy of grace and God loves you and has a perfect plan for your life! You have a destiny to fulfill!

Blessings,

Nicole💗

He’s in the Waiting

So thankful for this gentle reminder today.

“Take courage my heart, stay steadfast my soul. He’s in the waiting.”

I have been enduring lots of waiting the last few months. Have you found yourself waiting too?

I’ve struggled with sphenoid sinus infections and occipital migraines for a few years and I had sinus surgery in March. Well it’s literally been one trial after another since then. Shortly after I found out I had staph and something else they cultured.

It has wrecked havoc on my body and I have gotten into lots of anxiety and fear.

Do you have any anxiety or fear over something going on in your life?

Are you waiting for a breakthrough or healing?

Just as I was encouraged today, I want to encourage you, He’s there with you in the waiting. Stay strong and steadfast precious one.

Tell God what’s bothering you and then turn every fear and all your anxiety over to him and make it your prayer list. Keep praying till your breakthrough comes.

Phil 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

There’s 2 ways we can wait; we can wait passively or expectantly. If we wait passively, we just sit around waiting to see what will happen. Not really sure God will come through for us and not expecting anything good so we just give up.

But an expectant person is full of hope. They believe God is at work on their behalf. They believe and have there full trust in Him and that He will work all things out for their good. They believe in SUDDENLIES of God.

Wherever you find yourself today, don’t give up my friend. Don’t stop believing. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Stay full of hope and expectation. God’s got you! He has you right in the palm of His hand and nothing is to big for him and He wasn’t surprised by your situation.

Stand firm and steadfast! Keep pressing in and never give up!

Take courage my friend and you will rise in His victory.
